graaf_oer: DHL Announces Withdrawal from U.S. Air and Ground Market

DHL stops with its domestic express / ground network in the US, closing down over 300 hubs leaving them with 103 hubs to work with. From f.e. NL customers are still able to send express shipments to the US but you can imagine that this might have a hughe impact on the performance (remember: maintaining a performance level on 412 hubs is easier than on 103). In the US it is not possible anymore to ship economic/standard shipments, for International only express deliveries remain.

This is the time to get all US business from our competitors, make sure you are out there: day in, day out! We trust in you to make UPS grow faster and faster. We need you, pls. make it work!

Right in time for peak. Awesome. We've already started feeling the effects of this at my call center. Tons of customers are calling for new accounts so a website was set up specifically for us to refer them to it and tell them to open their accounts online. I need to start getting some sales leads from all of this!
